Seizing Opportunities!

I believe the attainment of clarity and happiness is by TRULY living in the present moment, which makes it easier to obtain what you want in life.

For years I have been battling with so many thoughts running through my head and moments of anxiety which I couldn’t comprehend. Like everyone else, I have big dreams and want to be happy. I don’t want to over think  life and what  will happen if things don’t go according to plan.

One of the biggest life lessons I have learnt this season is to let go of my past and be excited about my present. Get excited at every opportunity that comes your way! I’ve learnt to grab opportunities even if you don’t think you’re ready – just grab it and you will learn as you go on in the process. You will become more mature, get out of your comfort zone, and meet new people along the way which is another exciting thing .

World ventures came along and struck my attention. I quickly juggled my thoughts, trying to figure whether this could be something I will be doing for the rest of my life. Working and traveling the globe has always been a dream for me and this was the answer to that.

The moment I came to learn what the company is about and the vision behind it, I was amazed and couldn’t believe what I was about to experience in this journey. The size of the opportunity was something I could not comprehend and compare with any of my past employment. It was just too good to let pass by, so I enrolled myself and now make it a point to do this to make my dream come true. Grab the opportunity while I’m at it and learn as I go along. This is the only way I will learn, grow and discover a whole new world.

Amazing how everything happens in life is meant to happen. We tend to get a bit disappointed when things does not go according to our own plans. Well one thing I am most certain about is that God created everyone with a purpose. Maybe that wasn’t meant for you or things didn’t work out because God has something greater. Not only is the journey exciting but I get to do it with the right people in the team, build the right mind set, set the right goals and work towards my purpose in life. 

Sometimes I am amazed at how I am here right now writing this and the many things that I’m grateful for in different seasons of my life. Sure life can be very unfair sometimes but regret of what you had done in that process will cause your frustration. Instead, acknowledge it, learn from it and move on. Life is all about experiencing new things and sometimes we have to expect the unexpected results which is still fine but remember acknowledge, recognized it and learn from it then move on.

As grateful as I am, I am also blessed to still have both of my parents who I take for granted sometimes. I’m thankful that they are still around, witnessing our ups and downs, how we pick ourselves up and become more mature.

I am also blessed with an amazing group of friends who I’m proud to call family, these were my high school friends, social club friends, friends that I met in different seasons and have huge impact to my growth and self development. My church family and not forgetting working family from the different working sectors/org and some friendships that were created during Uni life and I was blessed to have crossed paths with all of them and making memories along the way.

Life is such that is full of gratitude and all we do is live for the moment.
